Re: MAUNDY THURSDAY 2020

Well, I made good progress on the bedside tables today.

This afternoon, the lady who had me come out to help her with a problem she had ...actually several problems, with a cabinet, came by. While I was there, the other day, she showed me the hardware for the drawers. She had one of one style and the rest had obviously been replaced. I told her that and she says, "Are you sure? How do you know?" I told her that originals, more than likely, matched the one on the pullout shelf. It is a 1930s Art Deco design, I told her I could make some to match. She, like most women, couldn't picture what I was throwing at her. Finally she agreed after I told her, "If you don't like them, don't use them and you don't owe me anything." I delivered them today to her. She wasn't there when I dropped them off, but sent a text telling her where I put them. About 30 minutes later she calls me, just gushing with excitement, ...she loves them and tells me that wasn't what she thought I was going to do, but "...those are perfect!" She paid me $10 more than I asked, she like them so much.

Oh, I did get the three lawn mowers oil changed and blades sharpened too.
