Sue is going into surgery as I write. They are calling me at different steps of the procedure.

Marcus. I will show you some pics. I guess on the positive side I will never have another high electric bill in my lifetime. Sue should see the benefit of mostly free electric as well as sonny-boy when we are dead and gone, if he gets the place. We bought a 22.5 kw system . It produces a max of 24.1 and minimum based on cloud cover or rain. Right now it is overcast and producing around 9300 kw. We use a lot of power with irrigation and the Koi pond that runs 24/7. A/C eats a lot too. Most people only need a system half that size and half the price. We actually could have gone a little smaller but I'll let you know in January when the power company sends me a check for any overage. They really are not fond of you making more power than you consume. I'll be happy if we break even. I got a great price on the system. Paid $2.50 a kw which is on the low end of the scale. Average cost for a system that size is between 60 and 70k in FL. We paid 60. We are on the grid. Not on batteries. In a power outage we're shit out of luck. Battery tech is lagging so I may or may not ever go to batteries. Still have my 6500 kw diesel generator for emergencies.
