Yeah I remember salt tabs.... little orange pills...that tasted salty... I decided it worked just as well to have them put extra salt on my french fries everyday..... I came back from Sturgis one time in 104 degree heat.... felt cool to me as the wind took the sweat away.... I did not drink much on the way... got back home and slammed down 2 beers and then got sick as a dog... chills and throwing up.... finally had the presence of mind to drink some water with salt mixed in it...threw up the first batch but drank another one and the body balanced out. Did not ever do that again. When riding in the heat I would drink a bottle of Gatoraid or water every gas stop..... just thought you should know that....
