Subject: Re: 25 July 2020 by TommyT-Bone on 2020/7/25 17:16:03 MIL accompanied by FIL and their nephew (Sue's cousin) are on their way to the University of Pennsylvania hospital by med evac plane. They are going to the university hospital and have a world renowned cardiac specialist planning to perform surgery. Sue's cousin made contact with the doctor that saved his fathers life and gave his father a few more years. He also provided the med evac plane for his aunt so she could go to Philadelphia. Sue's mom was given just a short time to live. The surgery is very risky but if successful she could live for years. Sue and her cousin talked my FIL into taking the risk. It was pretty much take her home to die or risk the surgery. We shall see what we shall see. I think I would do the same if it was me. Die in surgery or die in a couple of weeks at home. Neither sounds good but one has potential. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone. Me . I'm just doing what I'm told. Everything else can wait. Have to pick up Sue's cousins car from the airport and drop it at his home later this afternoon. Was going to wash and work on the cars this afternoon. There is always tomorrow. Or the day after that. Or the day after that. |
