Brake job never happened yesterday. Neighbor thought he was in dire need or brakes but he had 40% pads left. So I sent him on his way after an inspection and then ordered new brakes at his request. Online price of $220 all around vs $310 at advance auto. Waiting a week is worth $90 to me. I did some work on my buddy's Harley today though. Did shocks a few weeks ago and he brought it back for new grips today. Not too difficult but tedious working with the throttle cable attachment when you have to take the grip off and on five times to adjust the palm heel throttle rest (adjusted from inside the grip). Lunch was on him which is my kind of payment. Getting in a workout now. Hope everyone has a great day! |
