They got everything done they wanted to do and more. She is responding to simple commands and still on a ventilator. So she is over the first major hurdle but still in a danger zone as they stabilize her with medication and eventually work to taking her off the ventilator. So far so good. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. She's a lucky lady. Docs said if she didn't have the surgery she would have been lucky o last two weeks. Maybe she'll get to stick around awhile longer now. Now I'm prepping for Tropical Storm Isaias Pronounced Iz-ah-ee-as. I'm pretty well buttoned up but have to get some things off the floor in the back sheds in case of flooding. Plus place a blocks around the pond coping to keep the fish in the pond. 2020 is definitely up there with a year I will choose to forget. Good thing I'm a fairly healthy senior citizen. |
