Subject: Re: THURSDAY THE 30TH by TommyT-Bone on 2020/7/30 16:23:59 Hello everyone. The good news is she survived the surgery. Doctors said it was worse than they anticipated. They got everything done they wanted to do and more. She is responding to simple commands and still on a ventilator. So she is over the first major hurdle but still in a danger zone as they stabilize her with medication and eventually work to taking her off the ventilator. So far so good. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. She's a lucky lady. Docs said if she didn't have the surgery she would have been lucky o last two weeks. Maybe she'll get to stick around awhile longer now. Now I'm prepping for Tropical Storm Isaias Pronounced Iz-ah-ee-as. I'm pretty well buttoned up but have to get some things off the floor in the back sheds in case of flooding. Plus place a blocks around the pond coping to keep the fish in the pond. 2020 is definitely up there with a year I will choose to forget. Good thing I'm a fairly healthy senior citizen.  |
