Letty, our openers have a release cord that allows us to manually open the garage door....I was under the impression it was a mandatory feature on openers... We have had little splotches of rain almost every evening this week, more possible tonight. I finished up the 'fun lady's' job today. She asked me if I had a bill for her. I said I would finish it up and drop it by later. When I came back by and I handed it to her...She looked at it, smiked and said "Well, that's less than I was expecting." she took it into the kitchen and came back quickly with a check. And told me she would call me later for a couple other jobs....we'll see.... Iwent up to our local "Budget Shop" and helped by hanging a 'curtain rod' for protective curtain for the workers. It took about an hour and a half. When I got done, she said "Drop a bill off and we'll get you paid." I told her I would drop off a bill, but it would be a donation, because of the good things theyy do for the community and it was MY way of giving back to the community as well... she said, "I wasn't expecting this." And nearly brought a tear to her eye. The temps were still moderate today, but the humids were back up, so it was uncomfortable today. Mid to upper 90s forecast for the next week...and higher than 'normal' humids. Letty, I'm making the change soon to the 11 Pro, but not the Max version...just don't want to carry an "Ipad" mini around in my pocket. |
