Failed a load test so I charged it overnight and I'll try again today (it's under warranty). Neighbor came over yesterday and I got the front brakes done. Told him I'll do the rears tonight. Hard to do the whole thing at once when he doesn't get home from work until 6:15. Full brake job takes me around 3.5-5 hours. It would be faster with a lift, which I don't have. But I remove and clean and/or wire brush or grind every component - hub face, slide pins, bolts, studs, brackets, etc. It's a necessity in the rust belt or your calipers and pads will seize up. We have been in the process of getting a new driveway for several weeks now. Inspector finally came by and approved the base stone so we can get the asphalt poured. The paver brick has been done for a week already so it's been a waiting game. Hope everyone has a great day! |
