I had just showered and dressed for some yard work but before I got sweaty I said : "Do you want to go to Hollywood?" (Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood) She said "OK" So I changed and off we went. After playing 4 hours we were around $200 down and figured it was around time to go home. On the way out after we cashed our tickets Sue saw the machine we hit big on 3 weeks ago and said "Do you want to play $20? I said "Why not.". 2 spins in she hit a bonus for $200. We were now even. We swap off and on. She plays some, then I play some. We both caught some pretty good hits and bonuses. A couple of hours later we had turned that $20 into $750. For the day we ended up $570 ahead. Not bad. My returns at the casino are outpacing my returns on the stock market over the last several months. Both are a gamble. ;) |
