....great song yesterday Tommy..... always like that one...

...awhile back my daughter was saying her Jeep doors were not opening easy..... 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara JK 4 door in Mango Tango...... thinking that's a simple fix I soon found out that the doors did NOT want to be removed from the vehicle. So with a call to a bud and some jacks and timbers we started in earnest to take said doors off............ we kept increasing the size of the hammers until we were swinging a small sledge hammer and using every modern penetrant spray we could come up with........ after several hours of hard work we got the damn doors off and replaced the brass or aluminum stock door bushings with Delrin plastic ones. Only got two doors done that night...... now the jeep is back for Dad's basic maintenance package which this year includes applying Ceramic coating of the paint..... Oil change of course and ....... fixing the other two doors....... I'm assembling the same cast of character's having to ply them with liquor to get them to come over......... Jeep has been here a few days so have been trying to apply Deep Creep penetrant in the door hinges to hopefully make this go easier....... will let you know.....

going out to ride in combines today with clients...... that should be fun......... what you all doing for fun today? catch you on da flip flop......
