This work related thing is interfering with my other career. Retirement. The more I try to retire the busier the business seems to get.  Spread a box truck load of mulch this morning by myself. At least Sue and one of her field workers got it ready so all I had to do was pick up the truck, drive it home, and empty it. On my last 2 buckets Sue calls me and asks me if I'm almost done. She needs my help. No break, no coffee, just go back and sit at the nursery for a half hour. A nursery half hour is 2- 3 hours. A couple of hours of help is usually 4-6 hours. I know, I'm complaining about making money. I've had a lifetime of work so for me it's more about having more time than money. That way I can work on my $#!+. I said to Sue last night, who's gonna help you when I'm dead. |
