Still gloomy and rainy here again, muggy, had a pretty sunset last night but very soon after it rained pitchforks and puppy dogs. Fights continue with the squirrel trying to get my cardinal food. He's evaded my pellet gun thus far, either I'm a sorry shot or he's fast and zigs when I zag. I plan to have squirrel for supper this weekend if he don't go on about his business elsewhere. He's tore up every plant I have, dug up all my seeds so none of my stuff came up hardly, he's broke my cannas that are just now starting to look nice. Bird food pole has been greased to keep him off it so I guess he's pissed off. We'll see who wins! |
