Subject: Re: Pleading the Fifth of July. by TommyT-Bone on 2021/7/5 11:57:22 Good morning. Saturday night we saw the current rendition of the band Chicago. The performance was solid. It was like listening to to the original recordings as all the numbers were mirror performances of the originals. Near the end of the show we watched the drummer and percussionist play a duet together that was absolutely incredible. Horns, vocals, guitars, keyboards and all just demonstrated the high caliber of musicianship that these members all shared together. Glad we went. Of course we played our favorite games before and after the show. I was down pre show but made a major comeback post show by hitting an $1150 jackpot and a $400 payout on one roll of the wheels. Sue was over $400 ahead pre show on slots but the card table took all that back and more later in nthe evening. Gambling is a give and take. For us we are still ahead for the year. It's enetertainment not a source of income. Played Mr Mechanic yesterday and replaced the washer resevoir on the Silverado. Of course you have to pull stuff out to get to it. Not too bad though. Another job done. Rain in the forecast over the next few days as the tropical storm passes to our west. That's the news for now. Here is a word from our sponsors. |
