Hey guys, had a full post ready to go and "poof" it disappeared.......

I'll try again... Up normal time and ran some errands around town. Came home and the front struts for the pickup had been delivered and were sitting there next to the garage, so I decided to install them.

The ones I ordered included shocks and springs and the springs are supposed to raise the front of the pickup to level it out from a 'nose down' attitude.

I watched several YouTube vids on replacing these units and picked up a few tips. So I started on the passenger side and within a few minutes I had the old unit out. The new unit, however, wasn't as cooperative and I fought it for at least an hour. Finally I had to remove the sway bar end link entirely, to get the A arms down far enough to get the bottom of the shock into position to bolt it down. the problem was the 2" raise spring.

Well, once I got that figured out, the driver side went off and back on within about 20 minutes. All the vids I watched only had you loosen the sway bar links, but with the longer spring travel, I needed that extra play, I guess. Anyway, I've got an appointment to have the front aligned Friday...and without a doubt, the front sits higher than it did before...by about 2"

Letty, that looks like a neat spa. Tommy, you need to drive those cars more, sitting isn't so good on those. Gris, they might get back together.

Got a dinner tonight to attend at the 'Senior Center", better go get cleaned up.
