Served over 60 people...not a huge number, but the last one we did we served about 40, so we are gaining. We had 7 Knights there to help cook and serve, a good time to work with the guys. After we got home, I called #3GS (who turned 17 today) to bring his car over and we put new shock on it. He learned a lot and did a majority of the work. When we finished with the shocks, he asked to wash it, so we washed it. I noticed that there was very little (almost NO beading of the water). I felt the surface and it did feel too bad, Didn't think we really needed to clay bar it, but did have him spread a coat of wax (real wax) and treated the windows with RainX. for an ols car it looks pretty good, and it is good to see GS take some pride and interest in doing some maintenance on his car. Rosie and I went for a 5 mile bike ride. It has been a pretty cool day 48 when we went up for the breakfast, 63 when we came home, 60 when we went for our bike ride and 58 now.....Weather gurus are saying a frost Thursday night and freeze possible Friday night. Not quite the Fall Tommy is experiencing, but I have a feeling this cool snap is headed for Gris and Letty. |
