Subject: Tuesday Chat 11.09.21 by Matatk on 2021/11/9 6:33:06 Good Morning CGs! Tommy, that's a lot of hair in that photo for some military boys. The Honda started making a very unusual ticking noise the other day. I stopped by the dealership where I have a couple buddies and they told me that the timing chain tensioner is bad. So I'll be dropping that off to get fixed. There are certain things that I just don't want to do anymore. Leave it to the professionals. Speaking of that my father-in-law stopped by a local chain place by me to get an oil change Monday. As soon as he left the car started making some kind of screeching sound. So he takes it back and they told him he needs brakes. The thing is it wasn't making any noise before he pulled in. This particular shop has had some bad reviews in the past and I think they intentionally bent a backing plate or did something to make the noise. So he told them that they will do the brakes on wednesday. My wife told me this and I just about lost my mind because I know how much they will charge him and I think that they are taking him for a ride. So my wife called him and told him how frustrated I was about that and he's supposed to cancel the appointment. I don't know if he will, he's pretty stubborn. It's not my money but I don't like to see my family get taken advantage of. Hope everyone has a great day! |
