Subject: Re: 24 JANUARY 2022 by TommyT-Bone on 2022/1/24 18:10:42 Ga-dafternoon. Yesterday I was taking a sh ort break and my front gate doorbell rang. Doesn't ring all that often. A guy out for his daily walk told me the dogs were out and there was a hole in my fence. I got the dogs back in and figured they had dug out a spot and escaped under the fence. But no. A vehicle blew through the stop sign at the end of a side street across from me. Took out 25 feet of fence and bent three poles. Rode up on some of the landscaping. I had parking stops along the base of the fence there and big rocks lining the bottom of the fence on the outside. The unknown vehicle had to have got hung up. That was some hole. Don't know when it happened. Could have been between Thursday and Sunday morning. Anyway, that was the start of our day yesterday. Took the prop off the boat and will bring it to a prop shop tomorrow morning for a new hub. Getting ready to start tasks around here. It's a little of this and a little of that kinda day. Just need to get some things done. Enjoy ....... |
