I was getting ready to test for my Blue Dhee when that pesky 12 year old girl broke my nose and that was after I had recovered from a 16 year old who savaged my left knee with an errant side kick..... soon after that I humbly retired from the quest for a Black Belt. I do have several silver and bronze medals from the Nebraska State Games. Mostly in Forms but also in sparring.... could not chance getting put out of work back then since I was the sole breadwinner...... |
