Good morning, hot as all get out already when I left for work this morning. We went straight from damp cool spring to hot as heck dried out summer in a day here. Plants are thirsty and dog gets hot, time for her a shave I'm thinkin.
not much happening here , allright by me. Have given out some quotes and such we'll see where that goes.
Tee, yes we were going to relens ourself. I will just order them from that RLSebring dude who started them, off his ebay site. you heat them to break the seals, then remove old lenses, apply new sealer and gasket. You can send him your cores and it's $450 labor on top of the parts which is close to that. Still cheaper than a new pair of lights. I realize ppl dont' need to work for free but for $450 labor I figure we can spend time on it ourselves. He has a video published to show how it's done. He claims his are oem style replacements, not actual oem but close as you'll get. Same with gaskets. I'd rather spend more and get correct fitting replacements instead of cheap chinese that wont' work.
