They get angry that we can't sometimes get materials immediately to do their wraps and such and then they want it all on short notice. It takes time to do the design work, then it takes time to print, dry, laminate, cut up for install etc. The local radio station is one of the worst. I've told her a bazillion times we can no longer accommodate last-minute especially on large orders such as coroplast signs or banners. We simply may not have material on hand and cant overnight a lot of stuff like we used to. She still sent me an order for 100ft of banners plus 60 yard signs with about a 4 day turnaround. Tint guys get griped at too, everyone wants to go on vacation or it's just hot and they all of a sudden want tint. This is tint's busy season and they're booked 3-weeks out solid. It goes by appointments based on time slots for the job at hand. No tint shop in the world has a whole staff of people just sitting around waiting on your car to show up unannounced. If they do, then they aren't busy because they're crappy. Even the crappy dudes are busy right now. Nature of entitled people nowadays. Weather is beautiful here but heat will be coming back, only slight chances of rain next few days. Farmers are struggling. Back at the grindstone, I have two trailers, an extended van and possibly two Expeditions to work on. Y'all have a great day |
