His bass player was also a founding member. Great show. Good audience participation. Originally Steve Miller was playing in Chicago with Buddy Guys' band. Les Paul was a family friend and taught him his first chords. When he inquired to Les Paul about giving him a guitar Les told him he had to earn a guitar. He didn't get a Les Paul till many years later. Good story. Sue did well on the card table. Me, I lost on the slots. |
