good afternoon - not sure where the morning went, was asked to be here to work tomorrow, might I guess, could use the cash. Hoping I am caught up and just sit here. Need to clean the house, ordered a new vac head from ebay and it was due here a week ago. I need to deep vac the rugs. I'm bout to give up and just buy a whole new vac except I really like the one I have, just burned up the board on the powerhead.
Got enough wrap jobs printing owner has decided to call in a couple of old wrap buddies to help with the work. They're from out of state but for a fee and some brew they'll come work for a week and knock it all out getting him back on track. I have had him buried. Plus he has paint protection film, and commercial and residential tint to do.
I'm also working on my car stripes, I laid out my own pattern but rather have factory. Xpel paint protection film has my stripe pattern as a PPF pattern. So, we don't use Xpel anymore and the one we do use don't have it. Owner called another buddy who still uses it and for $250 he will separate the PPF panels and run the black satin through his cutter, weed and transfer tape and mail to me here. I'll put them on later. Also found some black edged badges on esteal I most likely will replace my chrome edge ones with. I figure we might finish up on the car at the shop this weekend so he can have his bay back and then I'll get it home and start in on everything else. I need to jerk the seats out, deep clean in there, apply stripes, new emblems, PPF on headlights and fog lights at least (rest is too pricey for me right now) and then re-black all the trim pieces such as wiper cowl, Apillars, rear diaper and fender liners, mud flap things. I figure I might be back on the road this fall lol maybe.
I'd love to get the garage cleaned out, painted and epoxy floor too but I don't see me getting all that done, I'm just one person.
I did have a vette club member come in today to get tint on his C7 and was telling me in regards to the headlights and working on the car myself with Arron's help that I was "as handy as a pocket on underwear" lol.
Thank you to Jesus too while I"m at it for sending us the rain we desperately needed it. It's been a bad drought here so we don't need floods but supposedly getting rained on all weekend here.
