Nothing left to crown so it was either a denture, a filler tooth that you can put in and take out at night made of hard plastic or an implant. I asked the dentist if it were him what he would do and he said implant. I was thinking along those lines when I went in so I opted for the implant. Surgery on Wednesday then a temp tooth for a few months while the bone growws around the new post. It will cost me about the amount we just sold one of the golf carts for. Need that tooth so it's a no brainer for me. And it's a medical expense write off on our taxes. If you want to eat meat you have to have good teeth. |
