I got into this situation because of Sue's incessant whining. I had plenty of stuff with a higher priority than a little condensation dripping on the floor from the refrigerator. If I had done it myself I would have researched it but she gave me a headache and I had had enough and called Sears to repair it. That's where the merry go round began. That first guy told me it would cost me $640 unless I had a Sears Home Appliance Plan. If I signed up for it he could do it that day for $250 plus the service call. Or I could sign up for the appliance plan and wait till the plan kicked in. $49.99 a month covers several of your major home appliances. So that's what I did. Signed up and waited. Still I have to pay a $75 fee when the service tech comes out. Still have condensation, still have a headache and soon I'll have to listen to Sue all over again about the fridge not being fixed. Sometimes it would be nice if life came with a rewind option. |
