Rosie off to the 'city' for a few groceries, but mainly to watch the GGD for a few hours. I'll head to the shop in a bit. I already spent a little over an hour catching up on the paperwork. End of year coming and I'll need to be caught up to finish off the paperwork for the accountant. This afternoon/evening I'm driving the Senior Center van, with a group of local seniors, over to Dodge City for the Mannheim Steamroller concert at the casino. Been wanting to go see them for years, but the never seem to be near. The director of the Senior Center called me to see if I would drive a group over back in early October. Heck yea! She's paying for mine, and Rosies' tickets, AND paying me an hourly rate to do it.....Yesterday, she told me save your receipt for your meal and I'll pay for that too.... Ah, no, you aren't going that far, I'm making out like a thief anyway. Report coming tomorrow on the experience. So sorry about the pooch Letty. They become family and when they pass it hurts just like human family. One reason we won't ever have one...bad enough that all three kids each have at least 2 dogs and grandson/wife have one...we have 9 granddogs that we love to pieces. |
