Started working on the seats last night. Had to grind the seat tracks brackets and hit them with some rust converter. Did a quick coat of black over that this morning. A trick I saw on TV to help the paint adhesion and drying is preheat the surface with a heat gun and then use some light coats and dry them immediately with the heat gun. Seemed to work. Guess we'll find out. Tommy, I do find myself thinking about Brad and Bill from time to time. Definitely miss them on the page here. Hope everyone has a great day! |
