Re: MONDAY 20 MARCH

Yesterday was not my day. They had to shut off my power to fix my neighbors electrical connection. They replaced all my connections (3) as well since they were there. When they powered it up my A/C outside unit wouldn't turn on. Called the A/C company this morning and they sent out a crew right away. They found a deteriorated fuse outside in the panel. Upon testing the other stuff they found the fan motor would not kick on. Need a new one. Thankfully the part is under warranty. My end will be just under $300. I can live with that. My A/C unit turns 10 years old next month. That's when my parts warranty expires. I asked the tech about how long a unit lasts these days and he said "Average around 10 years". I figure I'm in for one more new system in my lifetime.

So the 911 is sold and I have an interested buyer in the 91. He sold his motorcycle and wants a convertible for cruising the Keys. He's another friend of our family. Fortunately he is mechanically inclined and can afford the maintenance expenses. We'll see how that plays out.
