Subject: Re: SUNDAY MORNING by teebee on 2023/5/8 3:23:24 ahey guys, Up and around pretty early and down to the storage shed to grab some step up benches so I could do some scraping and painting on the awning and lawn buildings. Trim needed painting for a while, but with us hosting Leos' grad party on Saturday, Rosie was pushing to get that done. Worked on the west side this morning while we were out of the Sun and the wind wasn't blowing. Got the west side of the awning trim and "dog house", and both lawn building scraped and painted by noon. Cleaned up nd headed to the 'city' to attend my nephews' sons' grad party. Back home I got started on the east side. Temps had risen, but now that side was in the shade, so I got going on that. Still no wind, so pretty easy work. Rosie worked on the storage sheds east sides. About 6:30 I had Leo come over to crawl up on the roof of the one lawn building (south side of awning) to scrape and paint that. I know I have no business on the roofs, so Leo was elected. By the time he was done, it was starting to get dark. I also got the front windows and storm door cleaned. Rosie still has a list of things a mile long for me to do this week before the party Happy Anniversary, Marc and Lynn. Dang, Matt, RR#1 is that age already? Seems like I remember you announcing her arrival a "couple years" back.... Looks like Marc received some rain today...wish we could get some more, our 2" last week is wearing off. I'm tired... going to hit the sack.... Not a Shack of Sit, but close..... Loved that one. |
