Good morning to you all..... drippy and cloudy here also today.... got work to do inside so won't miss a great weather day...

sometimes things just work out.... took the fuel tank out of the 56 to fix a leak where the fuel sending unit attaches to the tank... the old gasket was hard and brittle...while having it out I spray painted all up underneath what the fuel tank covers up and there was some surface rust but all looked good.... this is a west coast car and never ran in the snow and salt that rusted away other such cars in the rust belt...

The inside of the tank looked as good as it did 67 years ago when it was made.... outside had no rust either.... amazing.... so we put the new sending unit on with new gasket and all is working as it should.... we were ready for a lot worse....

...keep on trucken Guru's
