Subject: Thursday Chat 05.18.23 by Matatk on 2023/5/18 14:22:59 Good Morning CGs! Yesterday was the official water heater install day. When I actually got the opportunity to inspect the unit it was in much worse shape than I thought it would be. 19 years old so no complaints there except my father-in-law not paying attention to things. Yes granted we don't always check our water heaters but still. Dielectric unions were seized so I had to cut those off but that's not a big deal. The worst part was when I went to move the unit it was so corroded that the shut-off valve broke and started spewing water everywhere. I got that cleaned up and got the new unit installed without any further issues. Still a giant pain in the butt. Although it's saved 800 bucks so it's worth it at the end of the day. Took RR#1 to the DMV yesterday and got her permit. It's official, she can terrorize the road under adult supervision. That's it for me. Hope everyone has a great day! |
