Got a chance to install it yesterday and it fixed the fan problem, ran like a champ. Took it for a drive on the highway. I was doing about 60 and I went to pass a car. As soon as I gave it some gas I saw a huge plume of smoke coming from the back of the car. Great. I checked my gauges and everything was good. I was able to limp it off the highway about a mile down and then it wouldn't go any further. I assumed the rear trans line quick disconnect broke but upon inspection I found the that line to my trans cooler in front of the car popped off and blew trans fluid all over the engine bay and underside of the car. Luckily trans fluid doesn't burn until it's really hot but it sure made a smoke show. Had to call a tow and they took it up to the shop that did the work. I was on the phone with the owner after it happened. He'll get it fixed up. Hope everyone has a great day! |
