Got an offer on the property but without what's on it. Told the potential buyer the offer would have to be higher if we were going to have to clear the property. We would really rather sell it as a business in one transaction. But if the buyer accepts the terms we offered we will sell the property and liquidate the contents over a 6 month period. Another had half the money but the interest rates for the other half stopped them in their tracks. Sue was talking about continuing landscaping afetr the sale and I suggested she consider retiring from landacping and just operating the home nursery on a smaller scale. Like 3 days a week or on sheduled appointments. She has her long time bird and butterfly clients that would keep her busy part time. I could live with that. First ... have to sell the nursery. Can't put the cart before the horse. Doesn't really matter if it takes 6 months or 6 years to sell. The business turns a tidy profit. The only problem is it dilutes time for leisure activity. I've been promoting more leisure time. I'm not gonna live forever. |
