Subject: Re: VETRANS DAY 2023 by vetteblondie on 2023/11/12 0:28:32 this. hat's off to all the veterans. Speaking of which, just came back from the store and a veteran in a shiny new Sienna van pulled into the handicapped sideways spot. As I was walking around the passenger side an automatic ramp slid out, he rolled out, bottom lights and all on it. No telling what that rig cost. First van I've ever seen I said I liked except those shagin wagons of the 60s-70s. I was up early today for no apparent reason, so got dressed, had coffee and our Vette club was volunteering to serve food at our community meal. A club member smokes the meat, organizes it and the Beale Street Vette Club from Memphis help us out. They rolled in today in file, camo pants, long sleeve green shirts with leather biker vests with Vette stuff all over them. Really showed us up in our jeans and polo shirts. We served a ton of people today and the Breaking Bonds Ministry guys helped also. Makes you heart feel good to do stuff like that. |
