Haven't had a drink in over 20 years now. Never told myself I would abstain forever, I just didn't drink. Took several tries but I succeeded. I gave myself an out. For my 70th birthday I'd allow myself to drink if I wanted to. May or may not have one but that day I'll have an option. Life has been good since I put the plug in the jug. Not sure I'd want to f@(% that up.  Just in case though I have some Johnny Walker blue label, gold label and a bottle of Jim Beam. When I stopped my beverage of choice was Jack Black and beer chasers. That combo launched the Irish and Hungarian in me LOL .... Dangerous combo |
