Morning guys... AWOL yesterday. Got up early and made a 2 hour drive north to trade pickups. Nothing really wrong with the Silverado, but it was just time to upgrade. With pulling a trailer more often now, and the promise to move GD from KC back to Fayetteville, AR this summer, I just felt that I needed the upgrade. Looked around at stuff in KC when we were there last week, and found some promising leads, but then searched our local area and found more here. One feature that was imperative was, the 6.2 engine, other than that, I was pretty open. Found a GMC Denali over in the 'city', but they all have 22" wheels and rubber band tires, couldn't have that. This 22 GMC Sierra SLT Limited was much more palatable with 20s (like my current Silverado). Got there just as the dealership opened at 8, looked at and drove the truck, made the deal and was headed home before 10:30. The 6.2 is a freaking monster... way more powerful than the 5.3, and I reset the trip odometer and it showed that I got 23.8 MPG on the way home.

Today a lumber truck should here any minute, then my monthly massage and tonight we lead Stations of the Cross. Supposed to be nearly 70 today.

I hear the truck, got to go. Later guys.
