Must have had something to do with the eclipse. On Thursday the 928 was parked in front of the nursery with it's for sale signs. On the cameras at 13:13 the 928 started on it's own and drove into the street colliding with a box truck knocking out it's drive shaft and shifting it's rear end. The 928 is totaled. The driver said the car pulled out into him. We were all like "Really?". When we went back and looked at the cameras sure as $#!+ the 928 pulled out and smashed into him. No key. No driver. Just strted and "BAM!". The internet says it could have been a rare solonoid malfuntion. There can be no other reason unless a lizard jumped the cables with it's body. We are just dumbfounded. Dumfounded and out of $10,000 plus we are reponsible for damages. The car was insured for $100,000 liability,. State Farm wants a copy of the vid. Plain as day it started on it's own. Nobody around the car. A buyer showed up with an envelope of cash on Friday for the purchase. Multiple  's right now. I asked the news reported to wait till after I come back from vacation to meet for a story on my son. Still missing. I'm experiencing some anxiety and a touch of depression right now but I am aware and combatting it as this is not my first around with with  The vaction is much needed. I need a total disconnect. Oh well. Onward. Take one step forward. Hopefully not two steps back |
