Sorry for the mess you have to deal with. Went to the casino Saturday night and while I was there I started getting chills. Told Sue I was going to sit in the car and she mercifully said "We'll just go home." Got home and checked my temp and I had low grade fever and felt like crap. Had a chill through most of the night. Sunday morning Sue looked at my left leg and she said "That doesn't look good." Reluctantly Sunday afternoon I went to a local urgent care center where they dignosed me with cellulitis. Gave me a shot in the ass and prescribed antibiotics. Told me if it doesn't improve after a couple of days I have to go to the E.R. There they will probably want to keep me for a few days on i.v. antibiotics. My fever is down and I'm doing the best I can to stay out of the hospital. Hoping the oral meds work. But I will do whatever needs to be done. Infections can kill you. They have been my nemesis. Keeping the leg up and resting is the order of the day. Wishing everybody a pleasant day. |
