Rumors have already been floating around, so I'll just spill the beans and post this from IB's automotive group to hopefully answer your questions:

Q: Why did Internet Brands buy Corvette-Guru.com? Internet Brands mission is to empower consumers to make better decisions about buying and maintaining their most important purchases, such as cars and homes. Corvette-Gurus users offer outstanding advice and support for Corvette owners and shoppers, newbies and veterans alike, which should be a very good fit with the rest of the Internet Brands Automotive sites.
Q: Will Corvette-Guru.com become part of another Internet Brand site? A: Internet Brands plans to keep Corvette-Guru.com a separate, thriving site and to continue expanding its content, community and traffic.
Q: What changes can we expect to see on Corvette-Guru.com? A: Its hard to predict far into the future, but for the time being, Corvette-Guru will remain essentially unchanged. If it aint broke, dont fix it. The main near-term addition youll probably notice is that Internet Brands will figure out with Andy and Tamiza Bogus the most logical places to put links to relevant content on other IB Automotive sites. Beyond that, Internet Brands plans to brainstorm with the admins and moderators of Corvette-Guru.com about improvements that would make the site more useful.
Q: How will the acquisition help Corvette-Guru.com? A: The main benefit will be having more infrastructure and technology resources behind the site. Better servers and hardware will mean better performance for the site and admin tools. And more technology resources will mean faster bug-fixes, quicker turnaround on site changes and more frequent updates in site software, like XOOPS or photo-posting applications. In fact you may have noticed some changes already; these are all part of the transition process.
Q: Will my Corvette-Guru.com log-in or password change? A: No you will still access Corvette-Guru as you always have.
With this latest aquisition on 4/1/2008, Internet Brands now owns the following Corvette related web sites:
Corvette-Guru.com CorvetteForum.com LS1Tech.com
Q: Are you freaking kidding me!!??
Yes.
We wish Andy and Tamiza Bogus the best, and thank them for helping the Corvette community stay informed since 2002.
