I had unemployment bennies, so I had money coming in (about half of my income), a DAMNED good reference and health insurance. It was a rather nice vacation, really. About a month after the layoff, I got close to a couple of gigs, but they didn't fly... it was the end of Oct when I got the job I have now. And it's been a good gig, too! |
