Hopefully your severance + unemployment will see you through until you land something else (and with luck, better). I'm waiting for the shoe to drop with my employer. The rumors are about a 15% cut (45,000 jobs). Luckily I'm close enough to retirement that if they want to sit down and talk package I'm ready to listen.
