Subject: Did you ever get "That Feeling"? by skirlin on 2008/4/22 12:44:51 I get out of work at midnight and I have a 20 mile trip home, 14 of that is highway. Last night, full moon and clear, I was on my way home and noticed I had the highway all to my self and the thought of dropping the hammer immediately came to mind  . I rarely ever do it but every now and then when there is no traffic, highway only, I like to indulge. As quick as the grin came to my face at the thought, I felt this overwhelming "feeling" of DON'T DO IT! I kept to the speed limit, I never saw anyone all the way home, and nothing happened.  Experience has taught me to never ignore things like this and I usually encounter what it is that would have been the disaster, but not last night. Well, better safe than dead. :thumbleft: |
