Subject: Re: Wednesday Chat 04.30.08 by LD85 on 2008/4/30 14:14:35 Well, our company paid for a full day of closed course driving, we serpentined through cones at varied spacing at 40-50-60kmh on dry then wet surfaces, did some emergency braking tests both with and without ABS, did some 80kmh emergency avoidance maneuvers, then finally they took us thought the entire proving grounds with the finally being a few laps around the 29-degree banked oval track at 210kmh.... We drove Opal GT's, Opal Corsa, Opal Astra and a car that looked like the Chevy SKY and a small Audi car as well. Boy did I learn a lot. |
