Makes ya go Hmmm...

Subject: Makes ya go Hmmm...
by smooth on 2008/6/27 17:08:58

Like a lot of folks, I have a job. I work, they pay me. In turn, I pay my taxes and the government distributes those funds as it sees fit. I am required to pass a random urine drug test from time to time and I have no problem with that.

What I do have a problem with though, is, the distribution of my hard earned tax moneys to people that do not have to pass a urine drug test to receive them. Shouldn't they have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check? I had to pass one to earn it for them! I don't have a problem giving someone a hand when they are down just to help them get back on their feet. But, I do have a problem helping someone sit on their ass doing drugs while I work. Can you imagine how may tax dollars would be freed up for other uses if people were just required to pass a drug test to get a public assistance check? Think about it!

A thought for the day
