Day has been good so far. Yesterday was not so well. At least the morning wasnt. It started out like so...I planned on riding my bike into work so I got my gear and put it on. First the jacket, then the helmet and finally the gloves. I climed up on my bike and turned the key to ON only to find the fuel pump didnt kick on. So I cranked anyway...nothing. I thought perhaps the battery is dying so I hooked up some jumper cables...still nothing. So now I am mad. I get all my gear back off and hop in the van, throwing my ID card into the middle cupholder. I get to the end of my street and slam on my brakes just as I thought...oh crap, my ID card. So I go back to the house and start searching for it to see where it went. 1 1/2 hours latter I finally thought to check inside the dash and there it was. So now I call my boss and tell him I am running late (during the 1 1/2 hour search) and he suggests I check the kill switch on the bike. DUH, so I do and thats what it was. So now I get my gear back on and ride off to work....much more humble then before.
