It is long, changes elevation, soooo many turns... about 80, IIRC... It requires a driver that no only has balls of iron, but KNOWS the track. You could put a great driver on that track, but if they don't know it, it will take them days to get up to speed. I would say that the ZR1 did that record not because of great handling dynamics but because of brute power. Mr. Mero deserves that record, he worked his ass off to get it!!! There were several times where his car control saved the day. |
