Question 7:

There were 6 original Grand Sports built. Five were sold to privateer racers. What happened to the 6th GS?

A. Sold for scrap
B. Crushed
C. Put in a museum
D. Torched
E. Was never finished

IT WAS D TORCHED...

YES!

Whew...

This might create some arguements, so the details... the incomplete chassis was dragged out to the Milford proving grounds, a tire, kerosine and a match were mixed and the car was burned to the ground.

All because GM was so afraid of anti-trust. Win on Sunday = monopoly busting on Monday. GM didn't want to excede 50% of the total US auto market. Think about that, they had half, and Ford, Chysler and the imports were fighting over the other half. Insane. Oh, they used the AMA ban as an excuse...

Game is now over, due to time constraints!

Next time, I will start pushing the game earlier in the week. But it is always posted on the home page.

Congrats to NC Kid! He guessed his way to it!
