Subject: Friday Chat 07.18.08 by Matatk on 2008/7/18 13:35:05 Good morning CGs! Well TGIF, huh? Not for me yet. Two more nights and then I'm off for a couple. Enjoyed the car show last night. It was a huge turnout and saw quite a few vettes. I was laughing at one, though. An old, old, old, old (did I mention old?) guy had about a 64 convertible. From 20 feet it looked ok, but you got up close and could see where 40 years of negelect had set in. Paint was trashed (and poorly touched up...looks like he used a paint brush) and to top it off he used construction adhesive to reattach the hood emblem...lol. Still, I'm sure he enjoys driving it. I'd love to "save" it, though. Anyone have big plans for the weekend? Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew |
