Subject: NITROGEN ....I'm a believer by CREWZIN on 2006/9/19 15:28:09 Just had the Vette tires filled with Nitrogen at the local Chevrolet dealer. Heard people talking about it and all the pluses sounded good. After the fill, the Vette seemed to ride smoother...maybe just positive thinking? It costs $59. Seems a lot, but here's what you get: Besides the Nitrogen filled tires, free roadside assistance for 1 year and free flat repairs for 1 year. Free refills for the life of the tires. The molecules are bigger in Nitrogen so less prone to leak. Constant pressure all the time no matter the weather, so supposedly better mileage. Reduces running tire temperature so longer life of the tire. Does it do all that? Time will tell. |
