Best post so far! I think guys are blowing this way out of proportion. I have a good relationship with my wife and that's the way I'd like to keep it. Guys that say "my wife does what I say or else" are either full of shit or wife beaters and I don't like either. Sometimes I'm right, and sometimes I'm wrong, but I'm willing to admit it when I'm wrong and stand up when I'm right. On this issue, I think I'm right. And I stood up for it. We talked some more this morning and she sees my perspective now. Do I consider it "winning"? No. But I did get what I thought was the best outcome for my daughter. There's an old adage, "no one ever really wins a fight" and it's true. There are always going to be some hurt feelings and maybe a bit of resentment in one parties mind.
