Subject: Re: DROVE THE VETTE TO WORK TODAY!!!! by biggrizzly on 2008/9/29 23:29:53  Its in the garage right now with the valve covers off. On my way home it started to develop and noise from the engine which I thought could be the start of the belt tensioner going bad, as I knew the original one was marginal. However as I got closer to the 30 miles back home, when I would slow down to stop at lights and signs it would idle down very low and run very rough almost like it was missing. I got it back home and opened the hood to listen again, and it sounds like something is loose under the right bank valve cover. I pulled the VCs and everything seems snug but I'm going to do another valve adjustment and hope I didn't lose a lifter. |
